The ATCO 12 volt ac wire wound or iron core transformer has been the stalwart of the low voltage lighting industry for years.
All Coolmax downlight globes are designed to deliver maximum light while running on the Atco transformer.

This ATCO unit will take a load from 3 watts to 50 watts running most LED globes with internal current control.

The Atco transformer will use about 3 watts of power above the globe rating due to it's design parameters. In all our Lightbox testing we use the Atco transformer as a baseline standard as it will run any brand of LED globe without fuss or fanfare.

The Atco TM-2-50 will, when combined with the Coolmax Strip Light Dimming adapter, easily dim most 12 volt single colour rigid or flexible strip lights up to 50 watts. We also have the same transformer is 24 volt for 24 volt LED strips
