The Clipsal 450 watt universal dimmer has the outstanding ability to smoothly dim up to 32 Nine watt Coolmax Commercial globes 

The Clipsal Universal dimmer incorporates phase angle control dimming (automatic detection of  leading or lagging) and utilizes 2 levels of thermal overload protection.
The Clipsal Dimmer also makes use of soft start control and has built in short circuit protection to protect from catastrophic load failure.

Together the Clipsal Universal Dimmer and the ATCO wire wound transformer provide a 50% dimming effect on LED globes.

For lower dimmimg levels you will need to use the Coolmax Dimming Driver coupled with the Coolmax 400 watt Dimmer. Dimming to almost zero output is possibe on all dimmable Coolmax downlight globes.

This dimmer needs to be installed by a qualified person
