The Coolmax 6 watt Cree LED globe has an output of around 89% of a 35w halogen.
This globe is suitable for downlights over kitchen benches, in bulkheads, in wall washer lights and anywhere an accent light is required.

Applications; Track lighting, Wall highlighting, Accent lighting, Garden lights, Exterior eave downlights, Shop displays.

The 45 degree globe is excellent for highlighting in shop displays or to focus attention with a room & the 60 degree globe is great for area lighting. The Coolmax 6 watt globe is available in Warm White either MR 16 & GU 10 bases. The running costs will be 1/5 (80%) of a 35 w Halogen Globe with a life span of 30,000 hrs

The MR16 globe is designed to be dimmable on a Coolmax LED driver, Non dimming Driver, Iron core transformer or an LED driver. The GU10 globe is straight 240 volt  and can be dimmed with a standard dimmer. Both MR16 & GU10 globes are dimmable with the MR-16 globe being C-Bus compatible.

The GU10 base globe can be used with the Coolmax Converta, to adapt the older style ES downlights to Coolmax Globes

Many electronic halogen transformers will not operate below 20 watts, by converting MR 16 to GU 10 base globes you will be removing a source of heat, inefficiency and possible failure. When dimming the MR16 globes make sure you use the correct transformer or driver.The GU10 globe can be dimmed with a  HPM, Arlec , Coolmax or Clipsal Dimmer
