This 12 volt MR-16 Coolmax   globe is dimmable with a standard dimmer & is compatible with a C-Bus Dimmer control. You can use a standard wire wound (Iron core) transformer or an LED dimming driver to dim this globe.

If you do not require diming this globe will run on an normal wire wound transformer or a everyday  "Dick Smith"  type 12 volt plug pack.

The Coolmax Commercial  9 watt Cree LED globe has an output of  85% of a 50 watt halogen globe. (430lm compared to 505lm)

The Coolmax Commercial LED globe is designed for all day use. The larger finned body gives 80% more surface area for heat dissipation. This allows for a higher light output with a cooler running temperature for Commercial and Retail settings. It is also the safest alternative to halogen lights in the home.

The GU10 based version of this globe can be used with the Coolmax Converta to adapt older ES style downlights to Coolmax Globes.

 We stock this globe in Domestic White (3000k), Commercial White (4000k) and Display White (6500k) with beam angles of 45 & 60 degrees.
