"I started my foray into LED light a globe from Coles many years ago. The light was so dim, it wasn't worth the effort. Next I tried some units from Jaycar, only to discover  Channel 7 on our set top box disappeared.
There seemed to be a disconnect between the C-Tick certification and the emissions of the actual units. Ray King from Ecosparks introduced me to his range of CoolMax LED lights. After a sweep on spectrum analyser to show that they would not cause any interference with TV, I had them installed. Now we have very efficient lighting with brilliant results, plus they are dimmable.
With over 30 units installed I will never go back to halogen globes.
